FESSH Shark Tank 2027 – Next-Generation Hand Surgery Education

 

A goal without a timeline is just a dream.

This is true whether you are a surgeon or a rehabilitation specialist.  Your submission deadline for taking your dream to reality is  15 February 2027 for the FESSH Shark Tank!

What will the future of hand surgery education look like? FESSH Shark Tank 2027 invites innovative ideas, technologies and teaching concepts that can transform how the next generation of hand surgeons learns, trains and develops.

 

Kindly sponsored by KLS Martin the Shark Tank Award is again awarded at the annual FESSH Congress to the best novel idea or clinical solution that will result in better care for our patients.

The award is €10.000 for the 1st prize, and €5.000 for the 2nd and 3rd prize each.

In an exciting battle successful applicants will present their novel idea/clinical solution in the form of a 3 minute summary presentation followed by a 3 minute Q&A – during the Shark Tank Session. The decision is made by an experienced jury – the sharks, and the winners declared at the end of the Shark Tank Session.

How to apply?

Your application should be submitted as a Power Point Presentation to be given at the FESSH Congress in the Shark Tank Session.

The applicant should be a full-paying member, resident or young member of a national hand society that holds full FESSH membership, provided he/she lives and works in Europe.

This year in addition to on-site, in-person presentations, we now accept video presentations, making it easier for everyone to share their research and insights. Whether you’re attending in person or remotely, you can be part of the event.
