FESSH provides support for below upcoming courses. Please send your application online if you would like to be supported.

Please note:
Places are available for full-paying members or residents/young members of the full member nations of FESSH and that they live and work in Europe.
Travel and accommodation is at delegates own expense.

FESSH offers financial support to international courses related to hand surgery. If you are organizing a course, please read the criteria which courses can apply.

Course content shall

  • Be of added value but not in competition with the FESSH courses
  • Concern super-specialization; course on a specific topic: for instance nerve course, arthroscopy course, microsurgery and replantation course
  • Include a practical component e.g. cadlab and/or workshop

Organization shall have

  • Criteria in accordance with FESSH patronage criteria
  • A spread across Europe FESSH strives for
  • A proven high quality (at least one course should have been organized and patronized by FESSH)
  • A part of faculty decided by the Education Committee in accordance with the Executive Committee to ensure diversity and inclusiveness
  • A name that includes FESSH

Funding

  • FESSH allocates an annual budget for funding courses each year
  • FESSH support is provided for one year and is subject to regular review
  • Organisations can (re)apply each year to ensure competition
  • FESSH support up to 50% of the full registration fee is provided to a certain number of delegates and not directly to course organisers. The number of supported delegates depends on the budget and registration fee rates
  • Travel and accommodation of faculty are paid by the organization itself
  • FESSH support is not provided for courses organized by industry

Application by course organisers

  • Course organisers need to submit an application to have their course listed and offered for FESSH support
  • Application is made through the online application form below
  • Applications shall be sent through the online application form by 28 February 2026
  • Scoring of applications and recommendation to FESSH Executive Committee is done by FESSH Education Committee
  • Approval of courses is made at the FESSH Executive Committee meeting
  • Notifications will be sent before end April 2026
  • Courses approved by FESSH will be listed on FESSH website and advertised through FESSH marketing as well
