The Pediatric Hand Special Interest Group focuses on hand and upper limb conditions in children, with a primary emphasis on congenital differences and trauma.
Our goal is to encourage collaboration for the advancement of the subspecialty and to provide education and teaching.
Many conditions in children’s hands are rare, treatment is not standardized, and surgical interventions may even be harmful and impair the potentially beneficial natural course. These challenges make it essential that professionals acquire a profound knowledge and have opportunities to discuss all aspects with other colleagues.
We want to create an open group which is accessible for hand surgeons and hand therapists within FESSH and EFSHT.
You may contact pediatricgroup@fessh.com or any of the group leaders listed below to join our specialty group. You will then have access to group discussions, and we will send you information regarding webinars, other teaching opportunities and meetings.
Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or suggestions regarding paediatric hand conditions!
