Jantine Posthuma de Boer Chair Communication Committee (2026-2029). Jantine is an orthopedic surgeon from Amsterdam, trained at the VU University Medical Centre Amsterdam, the Netherlands and subsequently completed a fellowship at Leuven University Hospitals, Belgium. She holds practice in a large orthopedic training centre in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands as well as in clinics in Den Haag and Marbella. She is treasurer of the working force Hand & Wrist within the Dutch Orthopedic Society and a medical adviser to a legal company.

She has been an active member for FESSH since 2023. As a true believer in Europe and unity, she aims to bring FESSH closer to its members, to engage and inspire hand surgeons throughout Europe and to assure strong and transparent internal and external communication.
